The 14th Nuremberg International Human Rights Film Festival (NIHRFF) takes place from October 15–22, 2025, at Filmhaus Nürnberg within the KunstKulturQuartier.
Held every two years, NIHRFF is one of Europe’s leading film festivals dedicated to human rights.
The 2025 edition presents 41 films from over 30 countries, featuring international premieres, filmmaker discussions, and panels.
The festival explores themes such as freedom of expression, equality, migration, ecology, and social justice.
An international jury will present the Nuremberg Human Rights Award.
Organizers describe the event as “a platform for unheard voices and for cinema as a means of social dialogue.”
